No one should go hungry during this difficult period.

We know it’s extremely challenging for many individuals and families as COVID continues to impact communities across the UK.

Not only are communities having to deal with the health pandemic itself, but also the economic impacts that has resulted in small businesses closing, companies going into administration and governments diving into recession.

This means there is now a need more than ever for food banks to tackle hunger in our communities.

What we do

Zia Ul Ummah Foundation works with food banks across the UK to ensure that no one goes hungry during this difficult period.

We provide all the basic necessities and staple foods to keep families going whilst they can get their benefits in place, back to work or find a long-term sustainable solution.

We try to cater our project towards a Halal or vegetarian diet. We ensure that we only provide food items that we would use in our own homes too. We design our foodbanks to contain a well-balanced diet and a balance of fresh, ambient and chilled produce.
